Kim completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland where she spent two years in Toowoomba at the Rural Clinical School. After this she returned to Brisbane to train as a junior doctor at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and worked across a wide range of areas including General Medicine, General Surgery, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dermatology and Mental Health. She also spent some time working at the Queensland Children’s Hospital on Paediatric Surgery and at Cherbourg Hospital looking after Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
Since then, she has had the absolute pleasure of working in General Practice where she enjoys looking after patients from all walks of life with an empathetic, patient-centred approach. Outside of work she enjoys sewing, reading and spending time with her energetic puppy.

Dr Nga Phan is a general practitioner in Brisbane. She completed her pharmacy degree at the University of QLD in 2005 and her medical degree at Griffith University in 2011. She completed residency training at the Princess Alexandria Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital. She entered general practice training in 2015, working at various sites in Brisbane and Ipswich and attained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2017.
Dr Nga Phan provides a full range of general practice services for children and adults. She has a subspecialty interest in ear, nose and throat disorders and has completed a Masters degree investigating the medical management of chronic rhinosinusitis. She is able to perform ear examination and cleaning using microscope suction.
