Our mental health affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. This year’s theme is “Connect for mental health”, with a focus on how we can nurture and support positive wellbeing by:
Connecting with self: Take care of yourself, do something you enjoy, make healthy choices, and seek help when needed.
Connecting with community: Create supportive and inclusive environments, look after one another, and connect with culture. Show kindness and initiate connection with those who are struggling.
Connecting with others: Foster relationships with loved ones, friends, family, and mob. Spend time with others and make meaningful connections.
Connecting with nature: Take a break from technology, spend time outdoors, embrace mindfulness, and take care of the world around you.
